DriveWorks Project Manager
About this opportunity:
GoEngineer is a provider of the most compelling design platforms in the industry, deploying engineering software and 3D Printing technology to make the design process innovative, efficient, and intelligent.
We’re hiring a Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of multiple customer automation projects from kickoff through final implementation and closeout. This remote role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, partnering closely with Sales, Solution Engineers, and other technical resources to deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned with customer expectations.
You’ll own project planning, customer communication, scope and schedule management, risk mitigation, and overall execution while facilitating collaboration between customers and technical teams. The strongest candidates will bring experience leading concurrent customer-facing projects, exceptional communication and organization, and the judgment to navigate difficult discussions. DriveWorks expertise is not required, we’ll teach you the platform and our processes, but you should be comfortable learning technical concepts and facilitating technical conversations.
Your key contributions in this role will be:
Lead multiple customer automation projects simultaneously from kickoff through final implementation and closeout.
Serve as the primary customer contact, lead recurring status meetings, provide executive-level updates, and maintain clear, proactive communication throughout each project.
Partner with Sales, Solution Engineers, and technical resources to translate customer requirements into actionable development work and keep delivery aligned.
Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, resource plans, deliverables, scope, priorities, and budgets.
Build trusted client relationships, clarify timelines and responsibilities, manage expectations, and handle challenging conversations constructively.
Proactively identify risks, issues, dependencies, and roadblocks; maintain issue logs and drive timely resolution or escalation.
Lead project kickoffs and planning workshops to gather business requirements, document assumptions and action items, and confirm scope before development begins.
Coordinate iterative project delivery, partnering with Solution Engineers to plan sprint work, prioritize backlogs, and monitor sprint goals, project burndown, and milestone completion.
Maintain accurate project documentation, meeting notes, decisions, action items, status reports, and work items in Azure DevOps and other project tracking systems.
Help customers reach the finish line while supporting project revenue and invoiced-hour goals.
We are looking for candidates with the below experience and skills, however, even if you do not meet all the listed requirements, very interested candidates should still apply:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
3+ years of project management experience leading customer-facing projects from initiation through completion.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including experience facilitating meetings with customer and executive stakeholders.
Ability to manage customer expectations, facilitate project decisions, and navigate difficult conversations professionally.
Strong organization, time management, follow-through, and attention to detail, with experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and comfort learning technical concepts, facilitating technical discussions, and working throughout the software implementation lifecycle.
Helpful, but not required
PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or an equivalent certification.
Experience leading software implementation or consulting projects using Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or a similar project management platform.
Experience working with engineering or software development teams.
Experience managing ERP, CPQ, CAD automation, or manufacturing software implementations.
Familiarity with DriveWorks or similar automation software.
