GoEngineer seeks an advanced Business Data Analyst to translate business goals into actionable insights and technology strategies. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, business acumen, expertise in data governance, and familiarity with emerging AI in business intelligence. The role involves working with executive leadership, gathering business requirements, and implementing solutions using NetSuite, Azure SQL, and Power BI. You will collaborate across the organization on analytics initiatives, develop dashboards, and advance analytics maturity toward prescriptive and predictive decision-making.
Your key contributions in this role will be:
Turn centralized data into business-ready insights, dashboards, and visualizations that support decision-making across the company.
Design, build, and enhance Power BI dashboards that present data in a clear, actionable way for leaders and stakeholders.
Define calculations, measurements, and business logic that accurately reflect performance, trends, and outcomes.
Collaborate with executives, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand goals and translate requests into practical analytics solutions.
Analyze available data to uncover trends, answer business questions, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Help advance the organization’s analytics maturity by supporting more prescriptive and predictive use cases where appropriate.
Make data easier to consume through tools such as Power BI, Excel, and emerging AI-enabled experiences.
Support the refinement, optimization, and refactoring of dashboards and analytics solutions to improve usability and impact.
We are looking for candidates with the below experience and skills, however, even if you do not meet all the listed requirements, very interested candidates should still apply:
Proven experience in a Business Data Analyst, Data Analyst, or Business Analyst role with a strong focus on delivering business-facing analytics.
Strong hands-on experience with Power BI.
Working knowledge of SQL and advanced Excel skills.
Experience partnering with business leaders or managers to gather requirements, shape analytics requests, and build data-driven roadmaps.
Ability to link analytics to business results by identifying if requests drive acceleration, efficiency, or strategic decisions.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative, and bring a strategic mindset to a growing team.
