About this opportunity:

GoEngineer is a provider of the most compelling design platforms in the industry, deploying engineering software and 3D Printing technology to make the design process innovative, efficient, and intelligent.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to deliver accurate, data-driven insights into GoEngineer’s profitability, solvency, stability, and liquidity. This role will be a key contributor to our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function, supporting strategic decision-making, improving financial processes, and driving business performance.

Your key contributions in this role will be:

inancial Analysis & Modeling

• Consolidate, analyze, and interpret financial data including budgets, forecasts, and income statements

• Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking, and perform process and scenario analysis

• Conduct business performance studies across historical, current, and projected periods

Reporting & Insights

• Prepare detailed financial reports highlighting performance, risks, and opportunities

• Identify financial trends and provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership

• Present findings clearly and effectively to senior management and key stakeholders

Cost & Performance Optimization

• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and recommend creative strategies to improve financial performance

• Support operational and strategic initiatives through data-driven analysis

Reconciliation & Accuracy

• Reconcile financial transactions by identifying, investigating, and correcting data discrepancies

• Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial systems and reports

Continuous Improvement

• Drive process improvements, reporting enhancements, and policy development initiatives within the finance function

We are looking for candidates with the below experience and skills, however, even if you do not meet all the listed requirements, very interested candidates should still apply:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Experience

• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar finance role

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel), databases, MS Office, and financial software

• Hands-on experience with financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling

Communication & Business Acumen

• Excellent presentation, reporting, and communication skills

• Strong understanding of financial forecasting, corporate finance, financial analysis, and market trends

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, tax considerations, and business environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems and financial planning software

• Advanced Excel skills

• Experience in a technology or SaaS environment

This is an in-office or hybrid role working out of our headquarters near Salt Lake City, Utah.
