We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving financial decision-making by providing insightful analysis, creating robust financial models, and contributing to strategic planning efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Your key contributions in this role will be:
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans.
- Analyze financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement.
- Prepare and present financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Build and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with company goals and objectives.
- Assist in the preparation of board presentations, monthly/quarterly business reviews, and other executive reports.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscapes to provide context for financial decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
We are looking for candidates with the below experience and skills, however, even if you do not meet all the listed requirements, very interested candidates should still apply:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial planning software (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Experience in the technology or engineering industry is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Position Hours & Location: This can be an in-office or hybrid position in our Salt Lake City office (Midvale), with typical office hours of 8-5 M-F.
